Showed up with a car needing a state inspection. They had locked the door. Dude walks up and sits down at the desk, pointing to a sign that says call a number. I called the number and got a recording. He comes out and said I would have to leave the car. Didn't offer to make appointment. I would not recommend going here. I took it up 15/501 to Tim's Auto Repair and they had me done in 15 minutes without an appointment!

We offer services by appointment only and unfortunately, you did not have an appointment scheduled with us. In order to complete a state inspection we need to have a lift available which is one of the reasons that we require an appointment. We offered to have you leave your vehicle with us as we would be able to get to it later in the afternoon, which you declined. We do apologize for your less than positive experience at our shop. Bought a used volvo in Apex in December. Was told that the low battery notice would reset. It never did and last week I got a notice that my safety systems were not working. Called Autowerks and they got me in that day, diagnosed the problem - wrong battery type allowed by the Dealership ( I will find out more before I re-rate the dealership). Apparently a common problem with European cars serviced by untrained mechanics. Autowerks will be my go to mechanic..

After doing good business with them for 5 years, something has changed. Currently I would give them a zero if I could.

I am new to the Pinehurst area and needed service (and tires) on my BMW. I was referred to AutoWerks by a golfing buddy and I am very happy he did. They were reasonably priced, explained why my prior tires were wearing incorrectly and they performed the regularly scheduled maintenance. We discussed upcoming service and I feel very comfortable that they will do what is needed and at a fair price. I can't ask for anything more......
