        *EXPANDED EXPLANATIONS*
THE FUNDAMENTAL PREMISE IS SEMI-ANNUAL                                                          (DISREGARD MILEAGE)
This schedule is more realistic than the manufacturers' and much
easier for the owner as it is calendar based rather than the more
difficult mileage format. (Think: dental cleaning based on number
of chews). This service appointment then becomes routine and predictable, unlike the mileage scheme that easily becomes out of synch.

SPECIAL NOTE:
PRIMARY REASON FOR A 6 MONTH IS THE ROAD-WORTHINESS CHECK
This Recommendation is for all cars so that at anytime it is ready for the road.
(To confirm it's readiness, at least once a week:  Start and idle for ten minutes (to recharge battery), check warning lights, and walk around to check for low tires and leaks.  Tip: park with front wheels turned to show the tread )
****************************************************
SCHEDULING PREMISE IS THAT ALL SERVICES CAN BE ALIGNED WITH THE MOST COMMON and FREQUENT,  THAT IS OUR "SERVICE A",  ESPECIALLY WITH NC SAFETY INSPECTION.
****************************************************
VEHICLE ROAD-WORTHINESS CHECK and ENGINE OIL CHANGE IS CALLED  "SERVICE A".
Short road test. Change engine oil and filter, check and
                  top-off fluids, road worthiness check.
Recommendation: Vehicle Road-worthiness Inspection                                    even if the oil change is not warranted.

VEHICLE BODY SERVICE IS CALLED "SERVICE B".
Long Road test.  Check body operations such as windows
Lubrication of hinges and latches, treat body rubber,
inspect cabin and engine air filters. Pull wheels for close brake
                     inspection.
****************************************************
You:  Do I need to change my oil?
Me:  Do you need to brush your teeth?
Dentist:  No, just the ones you want to keep.
