The Rising Price of Some "oil change" Type Services
For vehicles that have Service Reminder Indicators (SRI) to be reset after almost all maintenance services are increasingly more involved than pushing a button for a few seconds, making a single price service that includes the reset unworkable. In addition to the equipment, It has gotten to the point of registering with the vehicle manufacturer for a license, and a case-by-case permission, even for basic oil service (It is NOT required). So, the reset has been made a separate operation for each degree of time/expense ON A VEHIDLE-BY-VEHICLE. If it is wished to not Reset, please inquire. ALSO, as manufacturers' recommendation is SO LONG, an in-between oil change service can be done without SRI reset.
